Boston-based Eastern Bank has named two new vice presidents and a new loan officer.

Rana Murphy has joined the bank as a senior vice president and regional manager of 15 branches on the South Shore and Cape Cod.

Murphy, who brings 18 years of banking experience to the job, will oversee sales, customer service and operations at the branches, which stretch from Braintree to the Cape.

Susan K. Syversen has been named vice president at Eastern Investment Advisors, the investment management division at the bank.

Syversen, who worked at Eastern from 1995-2004, rejoins the bank and is responsible for the investment management and client relationship of a wide range of accounts. She manages a combination of corporate, charitable, personal and retirement portfolios. 
 
Sherry Temple has joined the bank as a senior loan officer in its Mortgage Banking Department. She will work out of Eastern’s Newburyport office.
