Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts (FPA of MA) member Daniel Galli will assume the role of president of the organization on Jan. 1.
In this role, Galli will help guide the policy and direction of the 900-member association that seeks to foster the value of financial planning and advance the profession within Massachusetts. Prior to being named president of the FPA of MA, he served on the board of directors as community outreach director.
Galli, principal of Norwell-based Daniel J. Galli & Assoc., began his financial services career in 1986. His practice focus is retirement planning, personal insurance analysis, employee benefits and investment planning.
"It is a privilege and an honor to be named president of the FPA of MA," Galli said in a statement. "I look forward to my tenure and particularly to working with fellow members in our continuing efforts to promote the financial planning profession, provide pro bono services and advocate for sound economic and tax policies."
