Hanover Appoints New Conn. Exec

Worcester’s The Hanover Insurance Group has appointed of Keith A. Powers as regional vice president, commercial lines, for the company’s Connecticut market.

Powers comes to the company from MiddleOak Insurance in Middletown, where he served as senior vice president for MiddleOak SNE and MiddleOak CNE. He will work out of The Hanover’s Glastonbury, Conn., office.

"With his experience and in-depth knowledge of the Connecticut market, and especially, his commitment to build strong, productive relationships with winning independent agents, Keith will be a valuable asset to our agent partners and to our team in Connecticut," said Richard Lavey, regional president for The Hanover’s Northeast Region.
