Panera Bread plans to open a new regional office at Davis Marcus Partners’ 1210 Washington St. in West Newton after signing a lease for 39,000 square feet. 

The sandwich shop chain will join existing tenants Rockport and Videolink in the three-story brick-and-beam building, which is now 100 percent leased. The current ownership has added new outdoor amenity space and renovated the exterior and parking garage. 

Footwear brand Rockport leased 90,000 square feet at the property and occupied its new headquarters in December 2016, relocating from the former Reebok campus in Canton. 

The Davis Cos. manages the property for the joint venture ownership. John Carroll of Colliers represented Panera Bread in the lease transaction.
