Edgewater Properties has launched a substantial renovation program for 16 MICA, creating an 18,183-square-foot office building near the junction of Route 128 and the Massachusetts Turnpike in Wellesley. 

Improvements include a new “penthouse” third-story addition with direct elevator access and a dedicated outdoor terrace, partial demolition of the existing building for a new parking lot and landscaping, renovation of the building facade with floor-to-ceiling windows and perforated metal panels, new MEP and HVAC systems and a new lobby with glass tenant entries, architectural millwork and polished concrete floors. 

Completion is scheduled for spring 2019. The project team includes Tremont Construction Management, LDa Architecture & Interiors and Gregory Lombardi Design. 

Colliers International’s Jason Rexinis, Bill Lynch and Nora Smith represent Wellesley-based Edgewater Properties in leasing negotiations.
