Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union recently opened its new 53,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at One Tremont Place in Lowell.
The credit union hosted a gala event on the historic site of Tremont Yard, which was transitioned into the new home of Jeanne D’Arc’s administrative offices. Those who attended include Edward "Bud" Caulfield, mayor of Lowell, state Sen. Steven C. Panagiotakos, Bob L. Culver, president and chief executive officer of MassDevelopment, Daniel F. Egan Jr., president of the Mass Credit Union League, and Mark S. Cochran, president and CEO of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union.
Cochran presented $1,000 to Maria and Gabriel Reyes of Lowell, Leona Allard of Dracut, and Edwin Muneton of Lowell, for Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s debit card promotion. Three local charities presented a matching $1,000 award to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, the United Teen Equality Center (UTEC) and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lowell.
"Jeanne D’Arc has a deep-rooted history in the Lowell community since 1912," said Cochran. "We outgrew our office space and it was important to us to stay in the Lowell Acre community. Tremont Yard was a perfect fit for us and we were pleased to partner with Soucy Industries Inc. and Gavin & Sullivan Architects Inc. on this project to transform the historic mill into our new corporate headquarters, One Tremont Place."
