Joanne Paleo, a salesperson with Prudential Wilmot Whitney Real Estate in Weston, has been elected as chairperson of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR) Community Service Committee for 2009. One of the founding members, Paleo will now lead the group in reaching out to local communities.
Paleo will chair committee meetings and oversee the implementation of committee initiatives in conjunction with GBAR leadership. In addition, she is required to submit regular reports to the board of directors on the committee’s progress in reaching its 2009 goals. Paleo will also be the liaison between the GBAR board of directors and the dozens of committee members who volunteer with the GBAR organization.
A Realtor since 2004, Paleo has been active on the GBAR Strategic Planning Task Force and also the Communications Committee.
