Joan Parsons, a senior partner at Boston law firm Riemer & Braunstein, has been named president-elect of New England Women in Real Estate (NEWIRE), a professional organization for women in commercial real estate.
Parsons will serve as president-elect through June 2010 and as president from June 2010-June 2011.
Parsons focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance and banking. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women and the Women’s Bar Association.
At NEWIRE, she currently serves as a steering committee member, communications committee chair, membership committee co-chair, and liaison to the legacy council.
