The Boston fintech firms Numerated and Twine have received national recognition.
FinTech Breakthrough, an independent organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global fintech market, named the company best small business lender.
Twine, the savings and investing app backed by John Hancock, was named “Best Overall FinTech Mobile App.” Numerated was recognized for its digital lending platform.
Numerated is a real-time lending platform that can automate credit decisioning and funding of loans online, often instantaneously. Small business owners can use Numerated to obtain a loan of up to $250,000 within five minutes.
The organization recognizes fintech innovators, leaders and visionaries from around the world in a range of categories, including banking, personal finance, lending, payments, investments, regtech and insurtech. The 2019 Fintech Breakthrough Award program attracted more than 3,500 nominations from all over the world.
All nominations were evaluated by an independent panel of experts within the financial services and technology industries, with the winning products and companies selected based on a variety of criteria including most innovative and technologically advanced products and services.
