A 13,400-square-foot office building at 7 First Ave. in Peabody has sold for $1.6 million.

North Shore Plastic Surgery bought the building, which sits on approximately 1.5 acres and was originally constructed in 1966. Klemmer Assoc. LLC was the sole broker in the sale.

NSPS said it is undertaking extensive renovations, which are currently underway, before relocating from their current location at 4 Centennial Drive.

"We are looking forward to having a state-of-the-art facility for our patients in a very convenient location on the North Shore," said David Wages, owner of NSPS.
