Rana Murphy has joined Boston-based Eastern Bank as a senior vice president and regional manager of 15 branches on the South Shore and Cape Cod.

Murphy, who brings 18 years of banking experience, will oversee sales, customer service and operations at the branches, which stretch from Braintree to Cape Cod.

Prior to joining Eastern, Murphy spent 14 years working in Citizens Bank’s retail, small business and marketing divisions. In her most recent position, Murphy was responsible for managing 14 Citizens Bank branches on the Cape, South Shore and southeastern Massachusetts.
