Paul Campano of Keller Williams Realty recently closed on the most expensive multi-family property sale in East Boston history, a $770,000 transaction for the home at 177 Webster St, according to MLS records.

"Even though this was the most expensive sale, the property was worth every penny," said Campano.  "Even in today’s market, I still see pent up demand for the premier properties in a given neighborhood. The economy has slowed its turnaround, but East Boston is still a great neighborhood on the rise."

Campano has 10 years of experience in real estate.

There has been some dispute regarding the most expensive sale in East Boston. One reader wrote in and said that Maur Bang of Century 21 sold the multifamily property at 259 Webster St. for $1 million on March 21, 2006.

When asked for comment, Campano stated that his claim is based on MLS records.
