The St. Regis Residences tower in Boston’s Seaport District has named a San Francisco designer for its 114 condominium units, lobby and amenity spaces.
BAMO, which has designed individual units at San Francisco’s Millennium Tower and hotel interiors including a renovation of the Four Seasons Hotel Boston, plans themes reflecting Boston’s history and nautical heritage, Cronin Development said. An amenity lounge will contain bronze fluting and blown glass lighting.
Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects, the tower itself reflects the waterfront setting with a curving, sail-inspired facade.
South Boston-based Cronin Development broke ground in October on the 22-story tower at the former Whiskey Priest and Atlantic Beer Garden property, after receiving $306.5 million in construction financing from JPMorgan Chase and $34.5 million in joint venture equity from JCM Opportunity Fund I LLC.
