Shawmut Financial Hires Securitized Sales Specialist

Emily A. McGranaghan has joined Boston’s Shawmut Financial Services as vice president, specializing in securitized real estate investment sales throughout New England and beyond.

McGranaghan is a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, with a career that has included commercial property management, leasing and investment brokerage in Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area, Shawmut said.

She previously ran her own firm, Afton 1031 Investments, which also focused on securitized real estate investment properties.

"We believe that Emily’s experience and training in both the commercial real estate and securities industries will be critical components to providing the best possible service to our clients," said Mike Brasco, Shawmut Financial executive vice president and managing principal.
