R. Gregg Stone, manager of two venture funds, Kestrel Venture Partners and Mass Venture Equity Partners, has joined the board of directors of Cambridge Bancorp, the parent company of Cambridge Trust Co.

Stone is also an active angel investor and manages two capital pools for his family. Before founding Kestrel in 1996, Stone worked at Pell, Rudman & Co. Inc. (now Atlantic Trust Co.), a Boston-based investment adviser, and served as the general partner of its two venture funds.
