Richard White has been promoted to operations manager, assistant treasurer at the Village Bank. In this new position, he will oversee both the deposit operations function and the Bank’s Customer Care Center.

White joined the Village Bank as a teller in 1995 when the Newtonville branch opened and, in 1999, was named manager of the new Waban office. The following year, he became manager of the main office in Auburndale. He was named manager of the Customer Care Center in June 2007.

He was honored in 2008 as the recipient of the bank’s annual President’s Award, given in recognition of a number of criteria including professionalism, attitude, commitment, interpersonal skills, work performance and job knowledge, the bank said.
