Another seaside parking lot in Revere Beach looks set to be replaced with a multifamily development.

City officials have approved plans for a 209-unit building at 646 Ocean Ave., sandwiched between the Ocean 650 apartments and the recently-completed 500 Ocean Ave. rental complex, just north of the Wonderland station on the MBTA’s Blue Line.

The 5-story building planned by Hamden, Connecticut-based multifamily developer Belfonti Cos. would total 150,911 square feet and include two ground-floor retail spaces, including an 80-seat restaurant, totaling 4,000 square feet according to plans submitted to the city.

The unit mix would see 106 studio apartments, 62 one-bedrooms and 41 two-bedrooms. Amenities will include a pool, an internal courtyard, a small roof terrace and 242 parking spaces, less than the city-required 313 for the various uses included.
