Boston multifamily developer and landlord City Realty Group launched a GoFundMe fundraiser to help buy medical supplies for the Poltava Children’s Clinical Hospital located in Poltava, Ukraine. City Realty maintenance technician Mykhailo Lytouchenko’s son Dimitrij manages the hospital’s intensive care and rehabilitation center, which is helping treat victims of Russian air attacks on civilian targets in the area.
KeyBank
Cleveland-based KeyBank, which also operates in Massachusetts, announced several charitable steps to support humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine. First, the company’s foundation is giving $100,000 to the American Red Cross and $50,000 to UNICEF to fund relief efforts there. Second, the company plans to match employee donations dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000 for a group of relief agencies operating in the area, including Americares, CARE, Project Hope, Save the Children and World Central Kitchen.
Rockland Trust Co.
Hanover-based Rockland Trust Co. gave $10,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Providence through its charitable foundation. The donation will help fund the club’s 100,000-meals-a-year food security program.
Rollstone Bank & Trust
Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust donated $10,000 to NewVue Communities in Fitchburg. The group supports families struggling with housing insecurity.
South Shore Bank
Weymouth-based South Shore Bank paid for 70 Brockton High School music and performing arts students to attend the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra’s performance at the Thayer Academy Center for the Arts in Braintree. The trip was paid for as part of the bank’s $12,000 annual pledge to the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra.
