What: Boeing Aerospace & Autonomy Center
Where: 314 Main St., Cambridge
Built: 2019-2022
At Boeing’s newly-completed Aerospace & Autonomy Center in Kendall Square, researchers from its Aurora Flight Sciences division are developing software used in flight simulators and unpiloted air taxis.
The 25,000-square-foot center occupies the 17th and highest floor of the 314 Main St. office tower, which was developed by MIT. Boeing plans to expand into the 16th floor in 2023.
The three lower stories of 314 Main St. are occupied by the newly-relocated MIT Museum, including galleries, a maker hub, expanded retail space and The Exchange conference center.
They Said It:
“This exciting new space will strengthen our relationship with MIT and further our partnership with some of the best minds in the industry.”
