The Courtyard by Marriott Boston/Westborough hotel is set to get an upgrade.
The first phase of renovations will begin in late fall with an expected completion in spring of 2011. Areas of improvement include all guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, exteriors and landscaping, pool area and fitness room.
"These renovations demonstrate our commitment to our guests’ satisfaction and comfort," said Mary Simone, area general manager. "We are delighted to be bringing an enhanced experience to our customers and to the community."
All guestrooms will be refurbished with new carpeting, artwork, wall treatment, new refrigerators, and brand new furniture including desk chairs and 32" flat panel TVs. In addition, suite rooms will have granite service bar tops. All bathrooms will undergo a facelift as well, complete with new granite vanity, under mounted sink, wall treatment, flooring, shower curtain, feature lighting and refurbished tub.
Guestroom corridors will be updated with all new wall treatment, signage, carpeting, paint, feature lighting and artwork. New carpeting and window treatments will be installed in the fitness room.
All exteriors will be painted, pavers will be refreshed and feature landscaping will be installed. The pool area will receive new paint and resurfacing.
A brand new lobby will be completed in the second phase of the property renovation plans.
