Laurence NoonanLaurence F. Noonan of North Easton has been re-elected to the board of directors of Whitman’s Mutual Bank.

Noonan has served as a director since 2001. In this role, he helps guide the policy and direction for the independent, mutually-owned bank, according to a statement.

Noonan is vice president and director of operations for the firms of Cape Cod Cartage, J.P. Noonan Petroleum Transport, and Noonan Brothers Petroleum Products, all headquartered in West Bridgewater.

A Brockton native, Noonan is a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School and St. Michael’s College in Vermont. Noonan and his wife, Luzann, are long-time residents of North Easton and New Silver Beach in North Falmouth. They are active members of both communities, as well as the service communities of Immaculate Conception Church in North Easton, Holy Cross retreat house, and My Brother’s Keeper ministry, which serves former shelter families.
