Cambridge Trust Co. has opened its 12th branch at 565 Tremont St., in Boston’s South End.
At a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening, the bank announced it is donating $10,000 to United South End Settlements (USES).
The bank’s contribution will be directed toward USES’ workplace readiness program, which ensures that participants have the education and opportunities they need to move toward economic self-sufficiency.
“The new branch is an opportunity for Cambridge Trust Co. to better serve the residents of the South End and surrounding neighborhoods,” said Joe Roller, the banks’ president and CEO, in a statement. “This new location is well-positioned to bring our long-standing tradition of attentive customer service and local market expertise to current and prospective customers in the community.”
