Real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle, which has significant operations in Boston, has reported fourth quarter net income of $41 million, compared with net income of $105 million for the same period in 2007 – a 61 percent drop.

For 2008, the company reported net income of $84 million, compared with net income of $256 million, in 2007 – a 67.2 percent decline. 

Full-year 2007 results included a significant transaction advisory fee earned in the Asia Pacific Hotels business. Excluding restructuring charges and adjusting for certain impacts of purchase accounting, 2008 net income would have been $127 million, the company said.
