Christopher Kimball, host of syndicated PBS cooking shows America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country from America’s Test Kitchen, has bought a $2.5 million Cambridge home.

Kimball purchased the home at 23 Buckingham St. from David M. Sykes and Margaret H. Early.

The 2,880-square foot, four-bedroom Victorian house boasts three full bathrooms, two half baths and two fireplaces, according to data from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.

Kimball is the founder, editor and publisher of Cook’s Illustrated and Cook’s Country magazines, and formerly publisher of the now defunct Cook’s Magazine.
