Assembly Row developer Federal Realty Investment Trust will add nine new tenants this summer at its 500,000-square-foot retail component.
The Maryland developer said it recently signed leases with Tatte Bakery & Cafe, Civility Social House, Portuguese restaurant Tribos Peri Peri, Vietnamese grill concept An Nam, Ten One Tea House, pet wellness and urgent care clinic Bond Vet and LaserAway dermatology.
The openings coincide with the lease-up of Assembly Row’s newest residential tower, the 500-unit Miscela building. The 24-story tower is 60 percent leased at rents that are 15 percent higher than the Montaje tower at Assembly Row, which opened before COVID, Federal Realty CEO Donald Wood said last week in a conference call to discuss the company’s fourth-quarter financials.
The property currently lists units ranging from studios starting at under $2,500 a month to 2-bedroom penthouses at $4,660.
Recent retail openings at Assembly include Purple and SavMor Spirits, and previously-announced pending openings include American Eagle, Ashley Furniture, SweatHouz, Parla, Salt + Stone, Union Square Donuts, Juicygreens and Le Macaron.
At completion the 40-acre development will include 635,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 2 million square feet of office space and 1,800 residences.
Editor’s note: This report has been updated to correct the number of new leases at Assembly Row.
