The Boston Estate Planning Council recently announced that it has received the first Leonard H. Neiman and Walter Lee Davis Jr. Council of Excellence Award from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC).

The award is designed to recognize councils that successfully provide a strong multi-disciplinary environment for estate planning professionals within their community, and honors efforts to grow their programs and services and to provide an exceptional member experience.

“It is truly an honor to receive a Council of Excellence Award from the NAEPC, especially in the first year of the awards, and we are grateful to the NAEPC for our selection,” Tim McBride of Bessemer Trust and president of the Boston Estate Planning Council, said in a statement.

Award recipients will be honored at a ceremony on Nov. 18 during the NAEPC Advanced Estate Planning Strategies Conference in Amelia Island, Florida.
