Intrepid Labs, a Cambridge-based startup specializing in alternative workspaces for venture-backed firms, has signed a 10,500-square-foot office lease for the entire fourth floor of the American Twine Office Park at 222 Third St. in Cambridge.
Senior Vice President Tad Lee of Colliers International represented the landlord, Transatlantic Investment Management Inc.
"The character of the building and the exposed brick and rafters within the space offer unique elements that directly mesh with our image and culture," said Mark Kasdorf, founder of Intrepid Labs. "Colliers and Transatlantic were both very responsive and pleasant to deal with throughout the transaction. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome."
Built in 1875 and renovated in 1983, the American Twine Office Park is a four-story, 114,364-square-foot office building located in the Kendall Square area of Cambridge. The property is 100 percent leased.
