CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. has been named to the "Companies That Care" honor roll for the third year in a row.
Companies on the honor roll are committed to their employees and their communities. The Center for Companies that Care, a national nonprofit organization working to enhance the quality of life for employees and communities, works with a panel of professionals to select the companies.
CBRE, like the other companies named to the list, excels in the 10 characteristics inherent to a "Company That Cares," which include: sustaining a work environment founded on dignity and respect for all employees; developing great leaders, at all levels; establishing standards for ethical behavior and integrity and getting involved in community endeavors and/or public policy, according to a statement.
Locally, CB Richard Ellis/New England has launched a widespread charitable program, CBRE Cares New England, which has united the charitable efforts of all CBRE/NE employees, clients and tenants throughout the New England region.
"We are extremely impressed that during a tough economy the honor roll employers – such as CB Richard Ellis – are doing whatever they can to sustain individuals, families, and communities," said Marci Koblenz, co-founder and president of Center for Companies That Care.
