The Charles River Speedway headquarters, located at the intersection of Soldiers Field Road and Western Avenue in Brighton, will be considered by the Boston Landmarks Commission at a public hearing tonight at Boston City Hall, according to a statement.

The Charles River Speedway complex consists of six buildings built beginning in 1899 with later additions constructed into the mid-20th century. It is an example of shingle and colonial revival style architecture and represents some of the earliest development on the Charles River Basin by the Metropolitan Parks Commission, a precursor to the Department of Conservation and Recreation, according to a statement.
