Boston-based Commerce Bank has added three senior executives to its corporate banking group.
Martin O’Riordan has been hired as senior vice president and commercial team lead for the Boston Taxi Medallion Lending Group. O’Riordan has 28 years of legal, development and credit administration experience, including roles with Salem Five, Solomon Edwards Group and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston.
John Tyson has been named senior vice president of commercial banking. In the position, Tyson is responsible for new business development for middle-market commercial and industrial clients in the Greater Boston market. He comes to Commerce Bank with 27 years of commercial lending experience, most recently as senior vice president and market team leader with Northway Bank.
Brendan Kennedy joins the bank as vice president and commercial loan officer. Kennedy’s commercial lending experience includes roles with Eastern Bank and Bank of America, and he also has held executive management positions overseeing sales and operations for two private wholesale distribution companies.
All three men will work from the bank’s Fenway office at 61 Brookline Ave.
