Hanscom Federal Credit Union and Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union
Employees of Hanscom Federal Credit Union and Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union participated in a “Build a Bed” event over the weekend of March 23-24, supported by Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) member credit unions. Cadets from Lowell High School’s Air Force JROTC, assisted by cadets from the UMass Lowell ROTC along with employees and volunteers from Hanscom FCU and Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, built 30 twin-sized beds for area children in need.
Leominster Credit Union
To mark the 65th anniversary of its founding, Leominster Credit Union established an endowed scholarship at Worcester State University to help LCU employees, members of the board of directors and LCU members – or their children or grandchildren – pay for college. The scholarship will present one $1,000 award annually.
MutualOne Bank
Framingham-based MutualOne Bank, through its foundation, gave $5,000 to the Rotarty Club of Framingham to support the Rotary’s Education Fund.
South Shore Bank
A team from Weymouth-based South Shore Bank volunteered with South Shore Habitat for Humanity at a home build in Duxbury. They worked with SSHH family partners on the multifamily project on Feinberg Bog Road.
