Quincy-based Arbella Insurance raised $133,430 for its “Let’s Drive Out Hunger” campaign, which supports hunger relief programs across New England.

BayCoast Bank

Fall River-based BayCoast Bank made a $10,000 donation to Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts to support three of the nonprofit organization’s popular programs: the Job Shadow Program, the JA Titan Business Challenge and the JA SPARK Program.

Clinton Savings Bank

Clinton Savings Bank recently donated $700 to the Josh Thibodeau Helping Hearts Foundation, located in Clinton. This contribution was raised by CSB employees and then matched by the bank. The foundation is dedicated to raising awareness in preventing sudden cardiac death in children and adolescents, and providing charitable assistance to individuals, families and organizations.

Cornerstone Bank

Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank donated $1,500 to Jeremiah’s Inn, an organization that operates a 29-bed Social Model Recovery Program for adult men struggling with substance abuse disorders.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank awarded $9,990 to upgrade software used by Framingham’s The Callahan Center’s Friends Travel Program’s software. The program helps seniors retain an active lifestyle.

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank donated $500 to the Peabody Firefighters Honor Guard Association.

Rollstone Bank

Leominster-based Rollstone Bank gave $10,000 to Montachusett Interfaith Hospitality Network Inc. to assist in its mission to provide shelter, meals and comprehensive assistance to homeless families with children and to increase community involvement in direct services and advocacy in northern Worcester County.

Sheet Metal Workers Local 17

Dorchester-based Sheet Metal Workers Local 17 this week awarded over $100,000 in post-secondary education scholarships for 26 students. Scholarships range from one-time $500 scholarships to four-year scholarships totaling $16,000.
