Coldwell Banker New England

Coldwell Banker New England is partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Affiliated agents or companies can choose to make an automatic donation, a minimum donation of $25 for participating affiliated agents or $10 minimum donation per participating brokerage office,  for every home sale or purchase they complete through Sept. 16, 2021.

Eastern Bank

Boston-based Eastern Bank recently awarded a $100,000 grant to Quincy-based NeighborWorks Housing Solutions to help it complete the 2019 merger between its two predecessor nonprofits and to build capacity at the affordable housing provider.

HarborOne Bank

Brockton-based HarborOne Bank awarded two prizes totaling $15,000 to two small business entrepreneurs as part of their fifth annual Small Business “Pitch Contest” on Sept. 17. First place and the $10,000 prize went to sisters Mary Lattouf and Nada Lattouf of Lulu Green Café Bakery Juice Bar of South Boston. The runner-up prize and the $5,000 award went to Widline Pyrame of Fusion Dolls, based in Brockton.

Mass Bay Credit Union

Boston-based Mass Bay Credit Union announced it was partnering with the Boston Public Health Commission and Friends of Boston’s Homeless to create savings accounts to help people experiencing homelessness save money they can use to access housing and help rebuild their lives.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank gave $10,000 to help the city’s police department expand its jail diversion program. The funds will let the department hire a fourth mental health clinician to provide around-the-clock, immediate on-the-scene de-escalation, assessment and referrals for individuals in crisis.

Tremont Credit Union

Boston-based Tremont Credit Union recently awarded three Boston Public School teachers $1,000 scholarships to be used to enhance their classrooms.
