Jack Conway Realtors’ Duxbury Manager Janet Pistone has been appointed to lead both the Duxbury and Marshfield offices of the South Shore-based real estate firm.

Pistone succeeds Conway Regional Vice President Peter Ruffini, who left his post as Marshfield manager to oversee his newly expanded sales region.

 "I’m very excited about managing the Conway office in my hometown," Pistone, a Marshfield Hills resident who joined the company earlier this year, said in a statement. "My goals are the same for both of my offices – to recruit new agents, to develop the existing sales force, and to coach and train my teams to meet the ever-changing needs of our marketplace."

Pistone worked in sales and management for Reuters Americas, Dow Jones and Lotus Software Development in New York and San Francisco before becoming a Realtor in 2007.

"Janet is such an outstanding manager that she was the perfect choice to lead two of our busy South Shore offices," Conway CEO Carol Bulman said in a statement "She has decades of experience in the corporate and real estate arenas and an upbeat, ‘can-do’ attitude that is contagious to her staff and customers."

Conway also announced that Walter Cleary has joined the firm as a new agent in the firm’s Duxbury office.

Cleary obtained his real estate license in June. He is a longtime emergency medical technician at South Shore Hospital and an operations supervisor for American Medical Response.
