Needham-based commercial real estate investment management firm CWCapital Investments has hired Anthony "A.J." Sfarra as senior vice president.

Sfarra is charged with expanding CWCI’s separate account investment management business and reporting to Hugh Hall, managing director with CWCI.

Sfarra comes to CWCI with 12-year of industry experience. Sfarra previously served as executive director at Morgan Stanley where he was integrally involved in the execution of over $100 billion in CMBS and commercial real estate CDO transactions, financial institution coverage and capital raising.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Sfarra worked as a director at Fitch Ratings in their commercial real estate group.
