Martie M. Dwyer has been elected senior vice president and senior loan officer at Brockton’s The Community Bank.

A veteran banker with extensive commercial lending and retail experience, she is responsible for the bank’s commercial and residential loan portfolios, according to a statement.

Dwyer, of Kingston, previously served as director of retail banking for Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, managing 140 branches. She was responsible for the bank’s retail business, deposit generation and local marketing as well as consumer and business lending.
