Eastern Malden Industrial Space Leased to Drone Firm

An eastern Malden industrial space has been leased to a commercial drone startup.

KIWI Technologies has signed a lease for 18,681 square feet of space in a larger industrial building at 730 Eastern Ave. The building is owned by a Wakefield based LLC, Eastern Industrial Malden, according to city property records.

The property features two large drive-in doors, loading and 18-foot ceilings and will be used to develop and test KIWI’s new large-format drone technology, according to the broker Burgess Properties Inc.

Steve Nohrden of Burgess Properties Inc. was the sole broker in this transaction.

KIWI’s new unmanned aerial vehicles aim to bring greater efficiency and machine learning to farming applications.
