Beverly-based scientific research firm Enzymatics has signed a 13,000-square-foot lease at 100 Cummings Center in Beverly.
The move will more than double Enzymatics’ lab and office space, according to a statement. Enzymatics General Manager Mike Nolan negotiated the lease.
Enzymatics is expected to move into the 100 Cummings Center space by January 1, when the expansion project for the space is scheduled to be complete, according to a statement.
"At Cummings Center, as is the case throughout Cummings Properties, we strive to deliver high quality laboratory space on attractive terms to life science companies at any stage of development," said Cummings Center Vice President and General Manager Steve Drohosky.
The nearly 80-acre Cummings Center campus houses 32 life science firms that occupy nearly 500,000 square feet of commercial space, which constitutes approximately 25 percent of the facility.
