First Niagara Financial Group has closed on $24 million in financing to support the construction of a 30-unit luxury residential-and-retail condominium development in Wellesley.
Belclare Wellesley, located on the site of the former Wellesley Inn, is a joint venture between Boston-based Noannet Group, Westport, Conn.-based Abbey Road Advisors and Boston-based ELV Assoc. Inc.
Located in Wellesley Square, Belclare Wellesley will be comprised of three newly-constructed buildings offering two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet. The units and common areas will feature top-of-the-line finishes and fixtures throughout. Private amenities will include a courtyard, a fitness center with sauna and individual storage units. The development also includes 9,500 square feet of canopied shops.
Construction is planned to be completed in early 2015, with the units available for buyers that summer.
