Boston-based First Trade Union Bank has named Gerard (Gerry) Langlais and Erica Getchell to the roles of vice president, controller and assistant vice president, deposit operations manager, respectively.

Langlais previously served as vice president in the finance department of State Street Corp., where he oversaw the implementation of global processes. Prior to that, he served as vice president/director internal audit and corporate compliance for Gilbane Corp.

Getchell comes to First Trade from Admirals Bank, and prior to that, served as assistant vice president, deposit operations for River Bank. In her role, Getchell will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s deposit operations department, according to a statement.

Both will work out of the bank’s Boston office at One Harbor Street.
