Boston-based real estate services firm Grubb & Ellis Co. has promoted Philip Giunta to executive vice president, transaction services group, from senior vice president.

Giunta joined Grubb & Ellis in 2007, where he quickly became one of the company’s top 20 brokers nationally in 2007 and 2008. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Giunta was a senior vice president and partner with CB Richard Ellis. Previously, he was an assistant vice president with Leggat McCall and a financial analyst at Raytheon Corp.
