MassBio, the industry organization that represents more than 1,600 life science and health care organizations and companies, recently began construction of its first workforce training center, Biodiversity.
Located at the Southline Boston development in Dorchester, the 4,000-square-foot facility will expand economic opportunity for 100 participants in its first 8-week session beginning in early 2024.
The program will be offered at no cost to participants, who will receive stipends to offset lost income, and receive career placement services for entry-level life science industry job opportunities.
Completion of the buildout is scheduled for January 2024.
They Said It:
“Huge thanks to MassBio for recognizing a need in the industry, responding to that need, and doing it in a way that brings opportunity to those who may not have it otherwise. This is not only critical for the life sciences industry, but for the growth of our communities.”
