Design collaborative Bergmeyer and construction manager JC&A have completed the corporate headquarters and lab facilities for robotics firm Boston Dynamics in Waltham. 

The 180,000-square-foot office and lab facility at 200 Smith St. was created within an existing building, 96 percent of which was retained during the fitout. Bergmeyer extended the mezzanine to create dramatic cantilevered meeting rooms overlooking the robotics labs. 

With a mix of fabrication, engineering, test labs, demonstration areas, office and meeting spaces and a multifunctional town hall at its center, the new headquarters supports the company’s values of interconnectivity and transparency.
