What: Pappas Commerce Center
Where: 645 Summer St.
Owner: Pappas Properties
Built: 2018
A lease by Brookline-based biotech firm Okouos has brought occupancy of Pappas Commerce Center in Boston’s Seaport District up to 50 percent.
The 37,500-square-foot lease follows medical device manufacturer 908 Devices’ expansion and relocation to Pappas Commerce Center from the Innovation and Design Building last year.
The two-story, 150,000-square-foot Pappas Commerce Center was recently renovated to provide office, flex and lab space with 75,000-square-foot floor plates, 15-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows with harbor and skyline views. South Boston-based Saam Architecture redesigned the building’s core and shell. Amenities include an enclosed rooftop meeting area, paddle tennis and shuffleboard courts and a first-floor cafe.
