The Hyatt Boston Harbor hotel has begun a $10-million renovation project of its 270 guest rooms and suites.
All rooms will be updated in 2015 with new furnishings and reclaimed wood and blackened steel accents, new work desks with pop-up electrical outlets, LED lighting and bedside electrical outlets. The renovations were designed by CBT Architects.
Built in 1993, the property located at Logan International Airport offers a seven-minute water taxi to downtown Boston.
"Our hotel is a go-to for both business and leisure travelers looking for well-appointed accommodations in Boston," General Manager Tom Blundell said in a statement. "We are updating our guestrooms with a brand new décor that reflects Boston’s rich history and culture, and we hope our returning guests and travelers that are experiencing the city for the first time will enjoy the new accommodation."
