Jefferson Plans Upgrades After $33.5M Hudson Acquisition

Jefferson Apartment Group and Principal Real Estate Investors have acquired a 158-unit apartment complex in Hudson with plans to renovate units and upgrade its amenity package.

The seller was Simrah Gardens LLC of Westborough and the purchase price was $33.5 million, or $212,000 per unit. The complex is being rebranded as J Highlands at Hudson.

Set on 12 acres at 307 Central St., the complex contains two buildings and a mix of covered and surface parking.

Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, basketball court, playground and picnic area. Jefferson said it’s planning to renovate units and add new appliances, fixtures and lighting, as well as adding a dog park.
