The city of Boston has declared June 1 BostonApartments.com Day.
BostonApartments.com, which has served the Greater Boston area for almost 20 years, lists apartments, condominiums and houses available to rent and purchase, according to a statement.
Owner Eric Boyer has been a licensed real estate broker for 30 years. Boston City Councilor Mark Ciommo sponsored a resolution to name June 1 BostonApartments.com Day to honor the Boston Internet business. The City Council commended Boyer for his efforts in assisting charities in finding homes, clothing and toys for those in need and in securing free housing for those left homeless by natural disasters such as hurricanes, or domestic catastrophe.
"I’m honored that the city of Boston has expressed its appreciation to my business; it’s truly humbling," said Boyer. "I’ve always been fascinated by what I see as the potential of the Internet and I’m grateful that my business has been able to help find homes for the
city’s residents.
