Developers are proposing the largest lab complex yet at Boston Landing in Brighton, which has attracted leases by biotech companies and an industry incubator in recent years.

Lendlease and Ivanhoe Cambridge recently acquired the 60 Guest St. parcel from NB Development and hope to break ground on the 317,320-square-foot building overlooking the Massachusetts Turnpike in early 2022.

Designed by architects SGA, the complex will have a maximum height of 165 feet and include up to 340 parking spaces. An unspecified amount of the ground floor will be reserved for retail, restaurant or multi-purpose space.

In a filing with the Boston Planning & Development Agency, Lendlease cited its involvement in more than 350 life science projects in the Northeast.

Lendlease and Montreal-based Ivanhoe bought the development parcel in March for $67 million.

Two other buildings at the 15-acre Boston Landing development contain lab space, including the Warrior Ice Arena at 80-90 Guest St. that serves as the Boston Bruins’ training facility and the Boston Celtics’ Auerbach Center at 40 Guest St.

Roche Diagnostics and Proteostastis Therapeutics previously leased space at 80 Guest St., while SmartLabs occupies 84,000 square feet of incubator space below the Celtics’ practice facility.

In June, life science developer IQHQ paid $50 million to buy the 3.1-acre property at 155 North Beacon St. next to Boston Landing, currently occupied by a furniture outlet.

Following completion of 60 Guest St., the master-planned Boston Landing site will have one development site still available, the 1.1-acre hotel parcel at 180 Guest St.
