A British manufacturer broke ground today on a 150,000-square-foot new facility at the state-owned Devens business park.
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group leased the facility at 16 Bulge Road from Scannell Properties, which closed on the acquisition of the 25-acre property from MassDevelopment on Nov. 5 for $3 million.
The plant, scheduled to open in late 2022, will generate fluids used in the life science and processing industries. Built by ARCO National Construction, the facility will include offices, warehouses and cleanrooms.
Colliers’ Jake Borden and Greg Klemmer represented the company in the lease negotiations.
