Gary M. Weiner has been elected president of The Commercial Law League of America’s board of governors for 2010-2011.

Weiner, managing shareholder at Weiner & Lange P.C. in Springfield, Mass., has held several CLLA positions, including recording secretary, board of governors attorney-at-large, New England region chair, young members’ section board representative and chair; executive council of the bankruptcy section member and member of the CLLA’s national education and national membership committees.

Weiner’s numerous affiliations include the American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. He also is a past chair of the Hampden County Bar Association New Members Section and is the former president of the Longmeadow Softball Association.

"I am honored to have been chosen as the board president for the upcoming term," Weiner says. "I look forward to helping the CLLA meet its strategic planning and other goals in the coming year."

The nine new board members assumed office May 1.
